What To Expect

We will treat you with respect and compassion. We understand that many patients are nervous going to the dentist, so we make sure we do everything we can to reduce your anxiety. Knowing what to expect on your first visit is the first step in helping you achieve that.

Please note that anyone under the age of 18 needs to be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian.

If you have any radiographs (X-Rays) taken at another dental office within the past 5 years, transferring them to us before your visit will be quite helpful. Some old X-Rays may not be needed to transfer. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this matter.

We would like you to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out our necessary forms. You can also fill them out at home if you would prefer. They can be found in our FORMS section.

We will go over your medical history to note any significant medical issues that may effect our treatment. We will then determine what radiographs you will need, do a clinical exam including but not limited to a periodontal (gum) screening, oral cancer screening, TMJ exam, and look for tooth decay. We use an intra-oral camera to show you the problem areas. We will also try to do a cleaning at your first visit.

We will go over your proposed treatment plan and any options you may have, answer any questions you may have, go over the cost and financing, and schedule your following appointments.
